Car Factory Tycoon Beginner Guide

When you start Car Factory Tycoon, you begin with $10,000, an empty factory floor, and a tutorial overlay. Your first task is to place a Parts Shelf so workers can fetch parts. Click the Build button in the bottom toolbar, select Parts Shelf, and place it near the center of your factory floor.

After the Parts Shelf, place a Car Stand. This is where vehicles are assembled. Place it within 2 to 3 tiles of your Parts Shelf. Close proximity reduces worker travel time significantly.

Click on the Car Stand and select Model A Sedan from the designer menu. The game shows a 5-step production sequence: assemble frame, install engine, mount wheels, add interior, and final inspection.

Click the Workers button to open the hiring menu. Your first worker costs a daily salary of $200. Once hired, they automatically fetch parts and begin assembling your Model A.

Finished cars need somewhere to go. Place a Parking Spot using the Build menu. Once a car is fully assembled, workers move it to the nearest empty parking spot automatically.

Click Sales OPEN at the top of the screen to start accepting walk-in buyers. They browse your showroom and purchase parked cars at market price.

Always keep your Parts Shelf stocked. Research the Fast Assembly upgrade as soon as possible, it reduces production time by 15 percent across all models.
